Solar PV System, Battery Storage System and Zappi 8m Charging Station

“When I decided to buy an electric car, it seemed to made sense to investigate whether there would be any benefit in getting solar panels to help with charging it. I contacted quite a few companies, most of which did not exactly fill me with confidence, however Ian at Evergreen gave me some very helpful ideas over the phone, so I agreed to a site visit.  The meeting went well and he confirmed  that my house was suitable for the type of installation that I wanted.   As promised, I received a detailed report and quotation within a few days. After comparing with a similar report from another installer, I decided to go head with the system proposed by Evergreen. This consisted of a SolarEdge solar PV system with LG Chem battery storage and a Zappi electric vehicle charging station.

On the appointed day, the installation team arrived bright and early and got to work.   From the start they were very friendly, caring and competent. They worked untiringly throughout the day and amazingly by early evening the installation was complete and ready to go.   The next morning the system engineer came to commission the system and within minutes it was up and running – my own mini power station!  During the first sunny months we used very little grid electricity, the storage battery supplies our electricity needs during the evening and rarely fell below 50% charge.  My eagerly awaited Jaguar I-Pace has now arrived and I am able to charge its battery for free!

In summary, I am delighted with the system and this is entirely due to professional competence of Ian and his team at Evergreen.   I recommend Evergreen without reservation.”
