Electrician

Position: Full Time (Monday to Friday – 8am to 5pm)

Driving Licence: Full Driving Licence Essential (Van and fuel card provided)

Location: Evergreen HQ based in Lyme Regis, but we cover Dorset, Devon and Somerset (approx. 25 mile radius of Lyme Regis)

Salary: Competitive (depending on qualifications and experience)

Evergreen is a family run business based in Lyme Regis. We are primarily a renewables installation company, installing solar PV, heat pumps, batteries, EV chargers and controls for heating systems. We also carry out electrical installations in custom new builds.  Our staff are offered regular training sessions to keep up with the latest developments. The Role:

We require a qualified, customer facing, professional operative with a level 2 or 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation or equivalent. Qualifications/experience with Solar PV / Heat Pumps / EV Chargers not essential as training will be given. 

Duties will include:-
Electrical installation in domestic and commercial premises
Heat Pump Installations
Solar PV and battery Installations
Heating system controls
EV Charging Point Installations
Electrical inspection and testing
Fault finding and repair
Follow company procedures for ordering materials and equipment
Communicate clearly and regularly with colleagues on site, head office and customers
Ensure all relevant site-specific documentation is fully completed and returned to the office
Must have a good understanding of Health and Safety Regulations
Able to work on own initiative and unsupervised
